Rome & Italy

Since the first centuries, pilgrims have come to Rome to pray at the tombs of the Apostles Peter and Paul. The Jubilee tradition began in 1300 and still draws the faithful through the Holy Doors. Most itineraries add Assisi, home of St. Francis, and the shrines of Padua, Loreto and San Giovanni Rotondo.
